These 20 ml vials are manufactured from high density polyethylene. Vials with caps attached are packaged in individual cells in trays of 100. Vials with screw caps packed separately are packaged in polyethylene bags of 100 and placed in a separate tray. Cases of 1000 vials are packed in a single plastic bag with caps in a separate bag. Trays of 100 vials are shrink-wrapped in plastic for protection against contamination.

For optimal performance in the laboratory, pet plastic vials provide the clarity of glass and have the safety of using plastic. Vials can be safely incinerated; no harmful gas is generated; only CO2 and H2Oare created. Lightweight, and virtually unbreakable pet vials offer low permeability to solvents and minimal background counts. Trays of 100 vials are shrink-wrapped in plastic for protection against contamination.
These vials are designed for beta and gamma counting, but they can also be used for RIA. Liquid scintillation counting, sample storage, sample counting and chromatography. Omni-vials have a smooth interior allowing easy transfer and access with a pipettor. Polyolefins used in these vials can be safely incinerated without the formation of hazardous gases. Vials and caps are packed separately in two polybags that contain 500 each. A polybag liner is also included for easy disposal of the vials. Vial can be autoclaved for 15 minutes at 121 °C at 15 psi.
